Instead of making phone calls for Allure...


I read the Rock of Love 2 blog. Gosh, that show is grade-A programming. I especially liked it when Daisy née Vanessa did a spot-on impression of a ventriloquist's dummy during elimination. Reading the blog this morning may have not been productive, exactly, but it was highly entertaining.

Instead of plowing through product descriptions...

I took a walk around Greenlake with a friend, and was reminded how fabulous Seattle smells in the spring and after a rain. I dropped my favorite hand-knitted hat, so we backtracked on the trail and found it hanging from a tree branch. I love this city.

I spent time with my stepsiblings at a bar with a football field painted on the ceiling. We were playing darts and trying to forget about the bust-into-tears-at-any-moment sadness of my stepbrother Paul's death.
